Over the last 10 years, we have provided our services to approximately 500 corporates, SMEs and founders.

Interface will often take on equity partnership arrangements - maximising revenue and hence the exit value of an enterprise. In other cases, we will enter distributor relationships, usually for major markets. We will often test market in Australasia.

Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC)

MUARC is one of the largest and most accomplished injury prevention institutes in the world, with a global reputation for its pioneering work in the field. Interface Innovation won the contract to prepare and write MUARC's 5 year Strategic Plan, along with its Business Development, Communications andFundraising Plans and its Risk Identification Schedule.


City of Greater Geelong/ BioGeelong


We were asked to provide a feasibility study for a $50m Mammalian Cell Bioprocessing Plant to be built at Deakin University's Geelong campus.  We sized the entire Australian market through high grade primary research and modelled a range of scenarios. Our financial models fed directly into a KPMG-led grant application for Federal Government funds.

 



Australian Stem Cell Centre
(ASCC)


The ASCC is Australia's premier stem cell research facility. To the credit of its management team, it had developed one of the most advanced scientific project management regimes in academia. We were asked to perform an audit review of its project management processes and procedures.


Neurosciences Victoria/ National Neuroscience Facility

This consortium is a grouping of the majority of Victoria's and indeed Austrlalia's scientific and  cllinical neuroscience research capabilities. We were assigned the task of setting up its Business Development capabilities. This involved capturing commercial opportunities across many Universities, Institutes and Hospitals, assessing a portfolio of over 100 different offerings, and pursuing partnering/ licensing deals at US and European Biotechnology conferences.


Multiple Sclerosis Society (Vic/NSW/ACT)

We have had a long pro bono association with the MS Society. A rare commercial assignment was the provision of procurement services for utility and ICT contracts. We achieved unprecedented savings for the organisation, considerably beyond the best results claimed by dedicated expense reduction service companies.



EMBL Australia


European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) has 20 member states in the European zone www.embl.org. Australia is its first Associate Member. We provided the initial broad brush business plan along with governance model options.


Australian Home Care Services

AHCS is the largest provider of in-home care and support services in Australia. In a period of rapid growth, Interface Innovation were asked to provide expert opinion and guidance on the commercial aspects of various initiatives under review.
